This bot is CBS-enabled, and may have its settings saved and restored using the Save'N'Restore bookmarklet*Available* 09/17/2015. See Save'N'Restore Tip Goal for more details.



This is a very simple bot that counts broadcaster specified words and phrases appearing in chat.
Each word and phrase has a count target and action associated with it.
When the count target is reached, the action is displayed.

Settings: Phrase List:

At launch, the bot can be configured with a comma separated list of <phrase>@<target>=<action> items, for example open boobs, bb@50=top off, i want you so much@100=bottoms off, banana@150=banana play .


In-chat Commands:

Once the bot is running, anyone can type /count into chat to see a phrase count leader-board and broadcasters can type /add <phrase>@<target>=<action> into chat to add a phrase, and /list to display the state of the count in a form that can be pasted into the Phrase List setting, if required.

*Update* 09/24/2015 All pre-set and in-chat entered phrases can now be saved and restored to and from file or browser local storage using the recently released Save'N'Restore bookmarklet. When restored, previously saved phrase counts are merged back into any current counts.

NOTE: Phrases may include at (@) signs, and actions may include commas. But they need to be entered as \u0040 and \u002c unicode escape sequences, respectively, so as not to be confused with the phrase and action terminators. And they will show as such in the displayed Phrase List, as will characters from the extended unicode character set, if any are included.

If any of the in-chat commands clash with those of another app or bot, they may be qualified by pre-pending them with either phrase or the slot in which the bot is loaded.
For instance, if you want to display the Phrase Counter Bot count leader-board, type either /phrasecount or, if it's loaded into the Bot #1 slot, /#1count .

Additional Settings: Multi-line Safe Mode:

It can sometimes happen that Chaturbate has problems displaying multi-line notices. /count produces a multi-line notice. So if you use it and get no response, re-launch Phrase Counter Bot, (remembering to first display the current state of the count with /list , see the section on using the Phrase List setting) enabling Safe Mode, to convert all multi-line notices into their single-line equivalents. Unfortunately, in Safe Mode, the single-line equivalents aren't guaranteed to be displayed in the intended order, which can lead to confusion, which is why it is better to run Phrase Counter Bot with Safe Mode disabled, if possible.
