A simple battleship tipping game, where tippers use tokens to purchase missiles/torpedos with which to sink vessels and win prizes.

Prize Assignment Guidelines

Although the different vessels in the game require different numbers of hits in order to be sunk (their nominal scores) only the last hit wins a prize for the particular tipper who fires the shot.

So assign vessel prize rewards taking into account that a single missile/torpedo purchase might win a prize for the lucky tipper who targets a vessel that other tippers have previously hit without sinking.

If the prizes you offer for each type of vessel sinking have significant value, ensure the missile/torpedo price reflects that value.

Mis-fire Credit

The game keeps track of tips associated with mis-fires; where the tipper fails to provide target coordinates in their tip note, or fires on a previously fired upon position, or fires after the last vessel has been sunk in the current game.

Such missile/torpedo credit can be used by the tipper to fire on fresh positions in the current game, or subsequent games, if the game resets.

The game grid resets automatically once the last vessel in the current game has been sunk.

Credit/Winnings History

The game retains tipper credit and winnings for 24 hours, but that information is lost when the bot is deactivated.

However, if desired, it may be saved before the bot is deactived and subsequently restored by the broadcaster after it has been reactivated using the CBS Save'N'Restore Bookmark Applet, documented and available with the Save'N'Restore Tip Goal app.

Note, though, that the Applet does not save, nor restore the state of any partially played game, and that credit/win records expire after 24 hours.
