Short Description:
Automates running a raffle in the room
Full Description
There is a new version of the Raffle App that uses the new App system. The new version has a few improvements including removing the need to export the ticket holders after each show. While this version will continue to work; it will no longer be updated. Search "boondog19" on the new App page.
The Raffle Bot handles everything a broadcaster might need to run a raffle, including purchasing tickets, the ability to save the ticket holder information so that the raffle can run multiple days, and drawing the winners at the end of the raffle.
Special Features
The broadcaster can set a maximum number of tickets to sell, specify whether or not viewers must tip a exact amount or give tickets for any tip over a certain amount, and give fan club members a discount on the ticket price.
The raffle has a built in raffle timer, which can be paused or extended if necessary, that signals to the room how much time remains before the raffle is closed.
Also, the broadcaster may designate one or more moderators to have broadcaster level access to the app. These mods will be able to manage the raffle timer, issue the command to draw the winners, and change the room subject, which is useful for times when the subject needs updating, but the broadcaster is busy. (Also, useful for correcting typos that the broadcaster made in setting up the subject.)
Available Commands
- /rafflemod Allows the broadcaster to grant broadcaster level access to one or more moderators.. Anyone designated this way will not have access the next time the app runs. To permanently grant a mod access, use the form field on the launch page. Exercise caution in granting this access as an unreliable person could mess things up. The available options are:
- add: Used to grant a moderator broadcaster level access.
- remove: Used to remove a moderators broadcaster level access.
- list: Shows a list of moderators who have been granted broadcaster level access.
- export: Used to create a string which can be saved in the field on the launch page.
- /rafflestats Shows how long the raffle has (or was) running for, the number of tickets sold, number of ticket holders, and a list of ticket holders and number of tickets each has purchased in descending order.
- /raffletheme Used to change the bot color theme.
- /raffleexport Prints a string of ticket holders and ticket totals that can be pasted into the field on the launch page so that ticket holder information can be added at the start of the next show, which allows a raffle to run multiple days.
- /give Allows the broadcaster and certain moderators to give a viewer a raffle ticket.
- /draw Closes the raffle if it is still open and draws the winners.
- /raffletimer Starts a timer indicating how long until the raffle closes. The available options are:
- start: Starts the timer with x amount of minutes.
- stop: Stops a running timer.
- pause: Pauses a running timer.
- resume: Resumes a paused timer.
- adjust: Adds or subtracts time from a running timer. To subtract put a minus (-) sign in front of the number.
- /remaining Shows how much time remains on a running timer. Moderators may add the "all" option to send the announcement to the entire room.
- /prizes Shows the list of raffle prizes. Moderators may add the "all" option to send the announcement to the entire room.
- /winners Shows the list of prize winners. Moderators may add the "all" option to send the announcement to the entire room.
- /mytickets Shows a ticket holder how many tickets he has purchased.
- /rafflehelp Displays the list of available commands with an explanation of each command.
