Full Description

Better Keno is a full-featured keno game. While there are other keno games on CB, this one is still maintained and updated while also being the best, in my totally unbiased optinion.

Setting up the Board

Setting up the Keno board is fairly straight-forward and simple.

1. Select the board size. A half board has 50 numbers where as a full board has 100. A half board is useful if you wish to have a smaller game.


2. Input a starting number. The starting number is the lowest token amount on the board and determines the size of the board. For instance, if you have a full board selected above and choose a starting number of 1, the board will contain numbers 1 - 100.


3. Input the prize totals: There are two types of prizes, Regular and . High value prizes represent the most value items on the Keno board and have additional options. Input the total number of prizes you want on the board for each type. For instance, if you want every number to have a prize, the total should equal 100.

Additional Settings

The additional settings allow you to further customize the Keno game. For instance, you can choose where the high value prizes will start to appear. Multicall allows for large tips to clear multiple numbers, where as community tipping allows for numbers to small to clear a number on the board to count towards clearing the largest number on the board. These two settings can help clear a board faster. The loser message is a message displayed when a called number does not have a prize.

Prizes

You only need to include as many prizes as you wish, not every available space needs to be used. The bot will randomly assign prizes to each number based on the total number of prizes selected. The rest will be losers. You should only include a prize once.

High value prizes have the option to send a private message to the winner. This can be a thank you message or additional instructions ("Please pick a video and send your choice and email in a tipnote.") or even a link to download content. Furthermore, if you use the very popular Raffle Bot, you can make it easy for your mods to give the winner his tickets. In the private message field include the phrase Raffle: followed by the command /give and the number of tickets to give the winner (Raffle: /give 3). This will send a message to yourself as well as any mods with broadcaster level access to the Better Keno bot letting them know someone won raffle tickets and an easy to copy message to give them tickets. This is a very handy feature if you give raffle tickets as Keno prizes.
